SHOPPERS!! SHOP ONLINE IN COMFORT AND SAFETY.
While the holidays bring out the best many of us please let us keep that bright seasonal spirit alive throughout the season . . .and throughout the years. There are those who exhibit "insanisms" so beware.
When you do shop at the stores please be mindful:
- of our surroundings
- not leave purses in shopping baskets
- in crowds be careful of seniors who don't move as fast as you
- wet spots on floors
- where we park - is it a lighted area, close to the store, are people lurking about?
- shop with a friend
- separate your money or use credit/debit cards
- shop online
- be aware of other when putting items in your car
- if you need help with getting items into your car ask for assistance from the store representative, even if it's just to escort you to your car
- if you feel unsafe at any point check with the manager of the store
- if you feel unsafe on the street or are being followed drive to the local police station, hospital emergency, or a well lighted area with lots of people
- if confronted physically, give them what they want and get away. Remember as many details about them as you can
